Who We Are

The Barnegat Inlet Yacht Club is a private organization established in 1981. As an affiliate member of the Yachting Club of America since 1982, BIYC is committed to maximizing boating fun while prioritizing boating safety and being socially and environmentally responsible. Our club is conveniently located in High Bar Harbor, New Jersey, near the historic Barnegat Lighthouse, and we offer mooring reservations to our members.

We currently maintain three moorings for the use of Barnegat Yacht Club members, and since we do not have our own clubhouse or docks, we may offer them to other yacht clubs through reciprocal agreements. The moorings are located in Meyer’s Hole and are marked as “BIYC PRIVATE,” numbered 1, 2, and 3. Please keep in mind that the use of BIYC moorings is at your own risk, so it’s vital to prioritize boating safety. To make mooring reservations, please contact the club via phone at 908-500-1874.
